Best Life Counseling’s Intensive Outpatient Program allows you to receive the addiction counseling you need, while continuing work and family life. It can be difficult to uproot your life to seek treatment at a residential 30-day rehabilitation facility. That’s why our IOP services allow you to get help while still living at home and continuing work or school.

During the program, one of our licensed counselors will guide you through IOP treatment for 10 hours each week, for 10 weeks total.

Learn to enjoy life again without drugs and alcohol — we will be right there with you every step of the way.

What is an Intensive Outpatient Program?

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) allow people to seek treatment for drug or alcohol addiction, while still living at home and continuing work or school.

What Are the Benefits of IOP Treatment?

There are several benefits to IOP treatment, including:

  • Continue work or school. For many people, it’s not possible to uproot daily life to check into a round-the-clock residential facility. In many cases, participants in an Intensive Outpatient Program can continue their normal work or school routine.
  • Maintain your privacy. A greater level of privacy is achieved with IOP treatment since a prolonged absence does not need to be explained to school or work, as is often necessary in residential drug and alcohol treatment.
  • Lower cost. Intensive Outpatient Programs are typically less expensive than 24/7 residential treatment. Additionally, Best Life Counseling is in-network with many major health insurance providers, such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare, and Value Options. We choose to be part of many providers’ networks because we want seeking help to be affordable for our clients. Check with your health insurance provider to determine if we are in-network for you and what type of coverage and benefits may be available.
  • Establish a community. No one understands what you’re going through like someone who has been through it — or is currently going through it. Best Life Counseling can help you locate local recovery support groups, if desired. Along with our team of compassionate counselors, support groups can help you get through the hard days and continue to stay the course. Often times, members of those support groups may even become lifelong personal friends.
