Court Ordered Counseling Services

DUI Counseling

If you’ve been arrested for a DUI, counseling is generally mandated. Best Life Counseling can help you fulfill that requirement, while guiding you through the associated legal process. Additionally, we conduct Substance Abuse Evaluations and Mental Health Evaluations, if required.

This program is designed to meet the court and legal requirements for those who are in need of an 8-hour drug and alcohol education course. It covers a wide range of topics, including learning healthy ways to handle stress and emotions.

Anger Management

Anger problems can have a detrimental effect on your marriage, job, children, and quality of life. In our court-approved Anger Management class, we teach participants to calmly work through feelings of anger by developing healthy coping skills and effective communication.

Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP)

Our court-approved Batterer’s Intervention Program includes 26 weeks of education, role-playing activities, and exercises that interrupt the cycle of domestic violence and provide comprehensive behavioral modification for individuals that have engaged in domestic violence.

Parenting Classes

This is often court ordered or mandated by the Department of Children and Families. We cover a wide range of topics, including divorce, parental roles, developmental stages, communicating with children, abuse, and visitation.

Substance Abuse + Mental Health Evaluations

After an arrest, a court ordered substance abuse or mental health evaluation may be required. During the evaluation, a licensed clinician will ask the person a series of questions. For the Substance Abuse Evaluation, a urinalysis drug screening is obtained. Learn more about what to expect.
